Mangalam (Tamil) as a word by itself has a strong prominence in our culture and way of life. It refers to prosperity, well-being, auspiciousness, enlightenment and success in our endeavours. It is in its deep meaning we aspire to selflessly prosper and help prosper the society.Mangalam Educational & Charitable Trust was founded by Mr.C.K. Kandasamy and Mrs.K. Selvamani Kandasamy and registered in the year 2002 as a Societal & Charitable trust to serve primarily in the field of education. It was founded with the sole of notion of narrowing the wide gap in Education in our country and empowers the society through a comprehensive framework. The trust acts as the ideological, philosophical, financial and administrative guide of all Educational Institutions functioning under its banner.Mangalam Educational Institutions derived its name from the parent company Mangalam Groups also founded by Mr.C.K. Kandasamy. Every life we touch we ensure that it is an unforgettable memorable experience. We brought this same passion forth to education. In this essence lies the intent to change the society for better, ONE STEP AT A TIME.

Mangalam Matriculation School
Mangalam Matriculation School is a residential school that was founded in the year 2003 -04. In few years since its inception the school has grown to house over 1000 students a year from kinder garden to the 10th grade. Innovation and contemporary techniques of education have paved way and set the foundation for a strong system. Teachers are trained to perform in dynamic situations that suit the child’s needs. A blend of contemporary system and conventional values has helped us grow into the fastest growing school in the district. Children are analyzed individually for unique talents and school programs are developed to garner their true potential.The school uses innovative smart class techniques to provide quality education to children. Parents are constantly kept in the loop of their child’s growth. Constant updates are sent through SMS IVRS and websites. Irrespective of the distance they are at, parents are at the liberty of checking their child’s progress at their own convenience.
Classes are conducted in English medium, for people preferring to retain their local language heritage, they are taught as well. Continuous monitoring and active involvement with the system helps them enhance their values and knowledge for greater good. Passive participation from other fields of interest such as music and other co- curricular activities helps the child venture behind horizons and develop a confident personality for their greater good. Mangalam Higher Secondary School
Mangalam Higher Secondary School is located in the vast Mangalam Education campus. Children in this curriculum are taught both in English and Tamil medium. This has a prominent effect on all the students. Personal association with the students allows the teachers to actively be a part of their daily lives.Housing over 2000 children’s in diverse classes from 6th to the 12th grade Mangalam has evolved to be a household name in the Erode district for imparting quality education at affordable rates. No more than 30 are seated in one class, enabling the teachers to focus on each child individually. The school is run with the sole intention of providing quality education to all segments irrespective of their class, caste and creed that separates them in India. Since its initial days we have produced successful students in diverse walks of life.At the forefront of all the syllabuses run in the school Mangalam Higher Secondary School is the most reputed of all11th and 12th grade. Our lead objective is to help students with low marks gain more marks in their public examination whilst creating value beyond marks. Over the last few years Mangalam has achieved 4 State 1st ranks. We untiringly strive towards delivering value that transcends past the cultural difference of the society, in the process catering to all students differently, for they are all unique in their own way. Students are fostered to believe in their dreams and pursue it through a combination of academic knowledge and skills attained through Mangalams’ dynamic educational system.

We recently changed our logo from the traditional lamp enclosed in the purity of olives to a more contemporary but yet deep and meaningful symbol that embodies our vision for the future. Change is the only permanent factor in our daily lives and for those who realise the potential of change, are the ones who lead and inspire to change the world for better.In this logo we aspire to influence, inspire and be inspired for generations to come. This logo would serve as the precedent for generations to look, serve and function in the unlimited potential of good education. Here is an explanation of the logo and the message it brings with it.

Colour
Green is a sign of never ending energy and nature. It resonates with the divinity of Mother Nature and that we aspire to be for our students in the school. We hope that they live an evergreen life filled with great accomplishments.

Three stripes – Meridians – The three stripes denotes the value of time and its mystical charm in our lives. The three lines symbolically impersonate the meridians that cut across the globe through which time is calculated in different zones around the world. It implies that our students should aspire to go beyond their comfort zone and reach beyond the horizon. It also reflects the value of time as a permanent but ever changing factor, whilst reminding us that the Past influence the Present and your present influences the future, so make it count. Correspondent – Mr. C.K. Kandasamy
Mr. C.K. Kandasamy is a first generation entrepreneur from humble backgrounds. He began his self made career at the tender age of 17 and has thrived over the years to build a successful organisation under the Mangalam Groups in diverse financial and retail industries. Mr. Kandasamy pursued his schooling at the Pallapatti Government high school and prevailed as a lead student in all facets of education. He still holds records for many achievements during his schooling days. He dropped of out of school due to then family scenario to pursue a job in the micro finance industry. Initially he worked under others for mere wages and toiled towards creating a venture of his own. As years went by his aspirations to rise ahead of others helped him establish retail outlets of his own and open manufacturing units that provided jobs to hundreds of front line workers. This attitude towards wok and his passion for new ventures and philanthropic service lead him to the Education industry. Under the guidance of his trusted counsel Mr. Kandasamy understood the system well and has offered a blend of conventional and contemporary education to all at an affordable price.He is the founder and Correspondent of all Mangalam Institutions. It is in his vision that this school was created to be different and constantly evolve. He heads the institution in all administrative and academic matters, he is directly involved with all day-to-day activities.
Managing Director – Mr. Kavin Kumar Kandasamy
Mr. Kavin Kumar Kandasamy is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Kandasamy is currently the Managing Director of Mangalam Educational Institutions. He completed his schooling at the renowned Montfort School Yercaud. He holds an Under Graduation in Business Management and Marketing form Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Kavin also holds a Masters in Global Management from the much-reputed Rouen (NEOMA) Business School near Paris in France. Through his education from around the world and his associations with the international business scenario, he gained much knowledge of the developments and the ever-changing business scenario. In today’s business world were employment opportunities are only for the few Mr. Kavin Kumar Kandasamy decided to leave lucrative offers and return to pursue dream in Educational services and the cerate jobs in the Indian business scenario. His acquaintance with diverse cultures and rooted Indian values persuaded him to return to cater to the growth of education in India.Mr. Kavin serves passionately at the forefront for the transformation of education and the role it plays in empowering the society. It is his belief in transformational education that has helped Mangalam Educational Institutions remain dynamic and constantly evolve to be ahead of the curve in delivering value-based education. He has envisioned a Private University in 25 years that excels in research and creates knowledge whilst delivering that acquired knowledge through a structured framework to the masses. Under his stewardship Mangalam Educational Institutions has a new brand image that resonates the vision for the future whilst symbolically creating an objective to reach and thrive under.
Chief Administrative Officer – Mr. R. Rangasamy
Mr.R. Rangasamy is a retired District Educational Officer and a passionate academician who has served in the educational service sector for the last 35 odd years. His long tenure and experience in the industry has helped him understand that education is primitive for the growth of a student and the collective society. It’s under his guidance and meticulous planning that the institution has grown in strength every year till date.Mr.R. Rangasamy has sanctioned many school licenses for the greater development of the society back in his days as the DEO. His approach towards the need to spread quality education has contributed to the strong foundation of the Institutions principles. He has always been at the centre of all development at Mangalam. He currently heads all Functional and Administrational activities at Mangalam. Through dedication of an entire lifetime to the teaching profession, he has acquired wisdom that is imperative for the transformation educational offered at Mangalam.
